we probably broke the virginity of making the first flourish video in Times Square's Coffee Bean,with our camera,cards,too much caffeine ~~and~~ ~~THIGHS~~ this happened. We LOVE CoffeeBean!

Homage Contest Entry

Last month Ajek,Muddy & Fiez went down to BJE Studio to shoot some stuff for the Homage Contest and decided to pick quite a challenging video to do,shot with Canon 550D with a footage totaling to about 60GB's came down to 2 minutes worth of action.

Brunei Cardistry Online Competition 2011 winner announcement

Within a week we have received many submission from local Cardistr, we can say all the video was awesome. :)

But, we only have one winner.

After doing 2 days review, we end up with Najib Anuar's Video.

Based on,

Editing - Simple editing, chill and fitted enough with the music n feel.

Video Quality - His selection of move and idea make this video has its own class n quality, and the video is clearly enough to watch. :)

Creativity - Eyes-gasm and most the move was original and fresh.

2nd Runners ---- Fiez.

3rd ---- Joey.

actually we plan to gathered at ICC which is a very bad idea ,
We have offer other flourisher to come since everyone was busy .too bad they couldn't make it
Ajek just back to K.B ealier :(.then we contact Nadzri ,who just back from Melbourne
ride to Bandar ,with Fiez,shoot some interesting footage ,had some ice blended coffee.

Located in the busiest town in Brunei, members of Brunei Cardist Group gathered over coffee in which, they battle against each other. This is the first live card battle unofficially organised by them. Numaru came as the winner. He brought home a V4 and an Eco Bicycle Deck, which has only been used by ,Mr Ajek ,and Vintage Bicycle and organic design , Anglo deck personally provide by Misfits Entertainment House.Numaru won 7 vote , 1 point enough to beat other finalist ,Najib Anuar and Wilson R Din.The prize presented by Mr Ajek on behalf of Brunei Cardist Group.

Demise Contest Winner

For the past week we received a positive response regarding a small contest , a lot of creativities shown in the variations of Demise Cut (credits to Ling Nemesis for coming up with the name) however only one winner will walk away with the prize sponsored by Misfits Entertainment House . Given a careful consideration I decided to pick Willson R. Din as the winner of this contest. Presented with a smooth transition and creative variation, I would like to congratulate Willson and to others who brought this competition as well as the local cardistry scene alive,I salute you! Keep on the good effort , i hope to see more contest like these in the future with more creative variations.
